What can I expect?
Kanban is widely used in infrastructure projects and support services where managing workflow in a complex environment is challenging. Kanban is an effective way for teams to prioritise and constrain work loads, create a sustainable pace by pulling work through the system and delivering ‘end to end completed’ high quality work.
Attendees will see how and why ‘pulling’ work into the system rather than ‘pushing’ work in enables teams to achieve increased levels of productivity and quality. Moreover, we look into how creating slack in the system increases levels of productivity and enables teams to continuously improve. Kanban is much more than simply a card wall; teams need to understand how this works with their roles, the meetings they should hold, how to prioritise their workflow, measure progress, flow of work and also cycle time. Delegates will leave this workshop with the knowledge and skills to apply Kanban in their organisation.
